Three music evenings with Finnish trumpeter Jykä Ahola
I am delighted to collaborate with Finnish trumpeter Jykä Ahola, who will be visiting our city in the coming days for three concerts: one duet and two alongside distinguished colleagues and friends:
- Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 21:00 – Concerto Café Artistic – Duet: Jykä Ahola (trumpet) and Stefanos Kozanis (piano) in an evening of jazz standards and original compositions by the musicians
- Friday, April 11, 2025, 22:00 – A jazz celebration at Jazzét Music Hall with the "Shadow and Light quartet": Jykä Ahola (trumpet), Stefanos Kozanis (piano), Dimitris Bikos (double bass), and Evangelia Stavrou (drums) along with vocalists: Nasia Gofa, Katerina Adamopoulou, and Panos Gerakakis
- Monday, April 14, 2025, 21:30 – A trio with a modern ECM-style sound featuring: Jykä Ahola (trumpet), Stefanos Kozanis (piano), and Nikos Sidirokastritis (drums), at Spiti Art Bar

Panos Gerakakis, a renowned crooner and a standout voice in the Athenian jazz scene, joins forces with Stefanos Kozanis, a versatile pianist known for his mastery across diverse musical genres. Together, they present an eclectic selection of tunes, blending timeless Greek retro songs with classic melodies from the Great American Songbook, creating a captivating musical experience. Two distinguished guests are invited for this evening: Jazz singer Katerina Adamopoulou and trumpet player Dimitris Moudopoulos.
