November is here — a month full of live music! On November 26, my birthday, we’ll celebrate with the big Asterismyth concert at the Half Note Jazz Club — the highlight of our journey so far, and one not to be missed! In addition, two concerts with Finnish trumpetist Jykä Ahola are coming up soon. More details in this newsletter!

Asterismyth Live @ Half Note Jazz Club | Wednesday November 26, 2025
Following a magical, sold-out performance at the historic National Observatory of Athens, Asterismyth take the stage at Half Note Jazz Club to present their full-length album Asterismyth – Music about the Constellations and Mythical Figures, along with brand-new material.
The project, led by composer and pianist Stefanos Kozanis, draws inspiration from Greek mythology and the stars, crafting a soundscape where jazz, classical music, and Greek tradition converge with poetry, narration, and song. Each composition tells the story of a constellation and its accompanying mythical figure — from Perseus and Andromeda to Cassiopeia and beyond.

- Katerina Konstantinou – vocals, lyrics, narration
- Dimitris Margaritis – violin, poetry
- Stefanos Kozanis – piano, composition
- Kostas Patsiotis – double bass
- Nikos Sidirokastritis – drums

Two music evenings with Finnish trumpeter Jykä Ahola + a guest appearance
I am delighted to collaborate with Finnish trumpeter Jykä Ahola, who will be visiting our city in the coming days for two concerts (and a guest appearance), alongside distinguished colleagues and friends:
- Tuesday, November 18, 2025, 21:30 – A trio with a modern ECM-style sound featuring: Jykä Ahola (trumpet), Stefanos Kozanis (piano), and Nikos Sidirokastritis (drums), at Spiti Art Bar
- Saturday, November 22, 2025, 22:00 – A tribute to Chet Baker, at Jazzét Music Hall with the "Shadow and Light quartet": Jykä Ahola (trumpet), Stefanos Kozanis (piano), Dimitris Bikos (double bass), and Evangelia Stavrou (drums) along with Panos Gerakakis
